Laval got back on track, Saint-Georges is rolling and Quebec is sliding. There are just 3 weekends remaining in the regular season. If the LNAH playoffs started today, the following scenarios would apply.
Laval (1) vs Riviere du Loup (8): Laval ended its skid but, with Saint-Georges on a roll, this matchup could change from the top seed with just 4 points separating #1 and #2. The 3L are playing better, but they’ll need some help to climb out of the basement.
Saint-George (2) vs Quebec (7): The 2-vs-7 matchup suddenly has last season’s upset rematch back on the table. The CoolFM are hot, while National continue their slide.
Saint-Hyacinthe (3) vs Sorel-Tracy (6): A pair of losses has dropped Saint-Hyacinthe to a clear #3, but the big story is Sorel-Tracy finally climbing out of the #7 slot. They’ve gotten help from a falling Quebec squad, but the Eperviers appear to have finally shaken their cup hangover.
Jonquiere (4) vs Thetford (5): These two are neck and neck with just a single point separating them. Each team could still climb or fall over the next 3 weeks, but the interesting factor here could be the battle for the final home ice advantage position.
3 weekends out, the case for: Saint-Hyacinthe

The Bataillon underwent a style transformation and it’s suiting them well. After a slow start, they’ve climbed as high as #2, and currently site at #3, 4 points behind Saint-Georges with 2 games in hand.
The Bataillon can make their case for taking home the Gilles-Rousseau Cup with hot goal tending. Number one netminder Zachary Bouthillier is first in the league among regular starters in Wins and Goals Against Average, and trails only Etienne Marcoux in Save Percentage.
Offensively the team boasts more than its fair share with 2025 league scoring champion Maxime St-Cyr leading the team in goals. He is followed closely by Zach Gravel, Philipe Sanche and Guillaume Guatier all within 5 goals of his lead.
Finally, just as the team is offensively dominant, the case can be made that it’s even more defensively dominant. Between some of its top offensive weapons and its defensive corps, the Bataillon can claim four of the league’s top ten in +/-. Adding it all up, Saint-Hyacinthe may be the most complete team in the league.
Up Next: Sorel-Tracy
